HAND ME DOWNS is episodic ensemble series that explores the consequences and nuances of American masculinity on a group of friends. This programming is handed down generation to generation, father to son, brother to brother, friend to friend. we follow the group of friends through everyday life with their hand me downs guiding each step they take.
About the Director(s)
Blaise Beyhan has been directing music videos and making films since he was a 19. He grew up in Alaska on the Kenai peninsula, south of Anchorage. He was raised off the grid and lived in a school bus , then a tepee, then a log cabin that his step father built. Growing up with very little money and living off the land Blaise and his many siblings used their imaginations to create their own worlds. He left home at 14 after the passing of his mother and a run in with law enforcement. He moved around from Colorado to Boston to Los Angeles to Miami until finally coming to NYC, starting a band and touring till the pandemic. He now resides in ny and works with his band and his business partner on his film company W.E. Films. He will be shooting two more films before the year is out and will be releasing new music under the moniker “missyou”.
